Storageville
Genesee, WI

We provided comprehensive structural engineering design services for the multi-story expansion of StorageVille’s Waverley Street location in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The project added a four-story, 48,000-square-foot building to the facility, increasing its total storage footprint to 123,000 square feet and making it the largest locally owned storage provider in the region.
This state-of-the-art facility houses approximately 400 climate-controlled storage units and features sustainable design elements, including a large rooftop solar panel system designed to reduce operational energy consumption. Our structural scope involved the design of the building’s deep foundation system, multi-level framing, and lateral force-resisting systems — all tailored to meet the stringent demands of year-round temperature control, Manitoba’s climate conditions, and StorageVille’s operational needs.
In coordination with architects and sustainability consultants, we ensured the building complied with local building codes, energy efficiency targets, and long-term durability goals. The project supports StorageVille’s commitment to innovation, customer service, and environmental stewardship while meeting the rising demand for secure, modern self-storage in the Winnipeg market.
