Generac Building
Beaver Dam, WI

As part of Generac Power Systems’ expansion into Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, our team provided comprehensive structural steel design services for a new 320,000-square-foot industrial facility located in the Highway 151 Business Park. The facility will serve as a critical manufacturing and office hub, supporting Generac’s rapid growth in the industrial generator market and bringing an estimated 350–400 new jobs to the region.

Our scope of work focused on the structural steel framework required to support both the manufacturing and administrative functions of the building. This included:

  • Design of steel framing systems for long-span manufacturing areas accommodating heavy equipment and overhead cranes.

  • Coordination with architectural and MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of utilities and operational layouts within the steel framework.

  • Optimization of steel member sizes for cost-effective fabrication and erection while meeting strict performance and safety standards.

  • Compliance with local and national building codes, including wind and snow load requirements typical of the region.

By delivering a robust and efficient steel design, our contribution helped set the foundation for a facility that aligns with Generac’s mission of delivering reliable, innovative, and sustainable energy solutions. The project is a strategic investment for both the company and the City of Beaver Dam, reinforcing the region’s economic development and industrial infrastructure.
