Kansas City Airport Parking Garage, Construction Inspection
Kansas City, MO

Artin provided construction observation services for the KCI Airport Parking Garage project, which began in November 2020. Serving as a subconsultant to Cagley and Associates, we contributed to the successful completion of this project, which took 15 months and had a construction cost of $500 million.
Our role involved observing the construction of cast-in-place (CIP) foundations, pile caps, and the erection of precast panels for the seven-story parking structure. The new parking garage features 6,300 parking spaces, providing significantly more capacity and convenience compared to the existing parking garages at the horseshoe terminals. Built by JE Dunn under the design-build team Clark Weitz Clarkson, this state-of-the-art facility is located adjacent to the new terminal, enhancing the overall airport experience for travelers.
