Artin provided engineering design consulting for the successful expansion of Hotel Clariana, a historic building in downtown San Jose, CA. This project involved a 46,000 square-foot addition, including a new 6-story building attached to the existing structure. The expansion preserved the building’s historic charm while introducing modern amenities to enhance guest experience.

 

Completed as part of a larger effort to revitalize the area, the hotel now features additional rooms, public spaces, and upgraded facilities. Artin's role included overseeing the structural engineering design and construction administration for the addition, ensuring seamless integration with the existing structure. The total construction cost for the project was $11.5 million.
