Palihouse West Hollywood – Boutique Hotel Renovation
Located in the heart of vibrant West Hollywood, Palihouse is a luxury all-suite boutique hotel known for its eclectic charm and elevated guest experience. This project involved a comprehensive interior remodel of the existing four-story building, revitalizing the space with contemporary design while preserving its signature character.

The renovation introduced several major upgrades, including a complete redesign of the upper floors, along with the addition of a custom paver system and a new rooftop pool—a unique and complex structural feature installed directly on top of the building. This rooftop transformation required careful planning to support water loads and paver weight while maintaining structural integrity and waterproofing performance.

Artin’s Project Scope
Artin Engineering served as the Structural Engineer of Record for this high-profile renovation project. Our team provided the full structural design package, including load analysis, framing plans, connection details, and reinforcement strategies required for both the interior reconfiguration and rooftop additions.

Artin also led the construction administration phase, working closely with contractors and project stakeholders to respond to field conditions, clarify design intent, and ensure that the structure was built according to code and specification. Our expertise was critical in executing complex renovations within a dense urban footprint—on time and on budget.
